Coralie Maltby of Huntington High School Named 2026 Mike Love High Five Scholarship Recipient

Mike Love presents Coralie Maltby of Huntington High School with the 2026 Mike Love High Five Scholarship at Mike Love & Associates, LLC in Lufkin, TX.

Mike Love & Associates, LLC is honored to recognize Coralie Maltby of Huntington High School as a recipient of the 2026 Mike Love High Five Scholarship.

Coralie is a standout senior who has balanced serious academic achievement with deep involvement in her school community throughout all four years of high school. She maintained a weighted GPA above 4.8 and graduated in the top quartile of her class — all while completing 18 college credit hours through Angelina College before walking across the stage.

Her commitment to Huntington High School goes well beyond the classroom. Coralie has been a member of the HHS Band since her freshman year, has participated in One Act Play, has served on the Drug Free Council, has contributed to HHS Broadcasting, and has volunteered consistently in her community. She was inducted into the National Honor Society during her junior year and continued that membership as a senior — a reflection of the character her teachers and peers have come to rely on.

This fall, Coralie will attend Stephen F. Austin State University to pursue a degree in nursing. Her application essay described her as quiet, smart, and caring — traits she says branch out into humility and determination. Those are exactly the qualities that stood out to our selection committee.

The Mike Love High Five Scholarship awards five $1,000 scholarships each year to graduating seniors from Angelina County high schools. The program has recognized outstanding students from across Angelina County since 2016.
