McKenzie Dixon of Lufkin High School Named 2026 Mike Love High Five Scholarship Recipient
Mike Love & Associates, LLC is proud to recognize McKenzie Dixon of Lufkin High School as a 2026 recipient of the Mike Love High Five Scholarship.
McKenzie has built an impressive record during her time at Lufkin High School — maintaining a high GPA, competing with the Lufkin cheer team at state-level competitions, and dedicating her time outside the classroom to programs like TAFE (Texas Association of Future Educators), Book Buddies, and Interact Club. All of that while working 25–30 hours a week.
This fall, McKenzie will attend Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she plans to study psychology with a focus on a career in child protective services. Her goal is to work with children who are navigating difficult circumstances — making sure they have someone in their corner. It's a calling shaped in no small part by her mother, Danielle Beck, whose compassion and unwavering support McKenzie credits as the foundation of who she is today.
"I don't want children to go through things that they shouldn't have to," McKenzie said.
We're proud to support students like McKenzie who are committed to making a difference.
